A sprinkling of luxury, a dash of glamour and memories that will last you a lifetime: the exclusive-use hire Charlton Hall is where the party is at.

“Charlton Hall is inspired by the Alice in Wonderland adage of being entirely bonkers. We aim to deliver a show-stopping venue that plays host to fine dining, private parties and licensed weddings. It is perfect for those looking to spend time and celebrate in a grand and lively stately home boasting designer interiors,” said owner Richard Shell.

“Charlton Hall doesn’t follow anybody else’s path,” he added. “We don’t depend on what is accepted as the norm. We make our own rules, curate our own story and create our own myth.

“Our vision is to give guests who stay here a fun, luxurious and home-from-home experience that will serve you with lasting memories.”

Put the WOW in your wedding with Charlton Hall. With three reception areas, two bars, eight bedrooms and magnificent grounds, there are plenty of options to choose from.

Brides are certain to fall head over heels with The Ceremony Hall and its swoon worthy geometric floor and period stone walls draped in fairy lights. It can seat up to 140 guests and the pretty-as-a-picture space is perfect to say ‘I Do’.

You only get one day a year that’s all about you – so we say go all out. The Looking Glass, Charlton Hall’s sparkling reception suite, provides the perfect scene to get your Le Freak on under the glitterball and party under a blanket of stars. This secret space takes inspiration from Hollywood’s golden age with vibrant neon strip lighting reflecting off the exposed stone and brick walls. Completed with comfortable leather wingback and barrel chairs and a jukebox, you can party in serious style.

In The Bar, pick your poison from the many potions available. Even the loos have a lavish look with red lip urinals and bespoke graffiti from the artist Lynsey Jean Henderson.

Creatively crafted by talented chefs, the menu offers the finest, locally sourced and seasonal British produce with a unique Charlton Hall twist.

From buttered lobster and mackerel tartare to braised blade of beef, lamb cutlet or chicken breast served with confit chicken bon bon, squash fondant, flax seed, chicken skin crumb and chicken reduction, let your taste buds do the talking here at Charlton Hall.

Think blondies, with burnt white chocolate, savarin cheesecake and apple tarte tatin for dessert.
