The independent wine merchants in Melsonby, North Yorkshire, has teamed up with the famous sherry maker to host the evening, which includes tastings and a light supper. It will be held at Bon Coeur’s site, which features Tasting Rooms and award-winning wine shop Cellar 21,
“Sherry is perhaps the most undervalued alcoholic drink. Yet is very food friendly and great value for money,” said James Goodhart, founder of Bon Coeur Fine Wines.
Founded in 1835, Gonzalez Byass is one of the oldest and most famous bodegas in Jerez, in southern Spain. Award-winning master blender Antonio Flores is at the helm.
Guest will be taken on a journey of discovery through the exciting world of Sherry. They will learn to distinguish Manzanilla from Palo Cortado and Pedro Ximenez.
