Launched by former restauranteurs, Kam and Nedhi Chera, the concept is a new at-home spin on their former restaurant.
The couple offer authentic, Indian cuisine such as platters and thali trays – including meat, veggie and vegan options. They are also set to launch Spice Kits, featuring Nedhi’s own recipe cards as well as Indian hampers in time for the festive season.

North East Chef David Kennedy and patisserie chef Murray Rhind have joined forces to offer food that’s full of flavour.
The guys, who had a stall at Jesmond Food Market, before it closed by the council due to covid, are now operating each Saturday from The Beacon, in Westgate Road, Newcastle. They’re there every Saturday from 10am to 4pm – or before their goods run out, which judging by how tasty they are is going to be pretty quick.
Expect camembert cheese, sourdough breads, slow-roasted tomato soup, North Shields fish pie, beetroot tarts, and Murray’s famous meringues. They also offer a new fish box.
