A Newcastle restaurant is mixing it up with its all-new cocktail list crafted in-house.
artisan, located in The Biscuit Factory – the UK’s largest arts, craft and design gallery – has created a new cocktail list.
The menu, made by artisan’s in-house mixologist Lauren McKirdy, features a selection of mouth-watering drinks bursting with a luscious blend of fresh fruits, premium spirits and liqueurs, not to mention in-house syrups.
The new cocktail list – the restaurant’s biggest to date – has been specially designed to complement the ingredients and flavours found on the kitchen’s seasonal menus.
Alongside premium classics such as the Kir Royale and Perfect Manhattan, there’s also a range of artisan creations – highlights include the Southern Sweet Tea, Butterscotch Daiquiri and Apple and Pear Crumble.
Non-alcoholic cocktails include the Artisan Cup – a blend of blackberry, apple juice, vanilla, cinnamon and soda – and diners can also enjoy after dinner classics like the Old Fashioned and Brandy Alexander.
Lauren McKirdy, who developed the new cocktail list says: “We’ve decided to expand our cocktail list and get creative with our flavour combinations. We hope that visitors to the restaurant will enjoy our new cocktails which, similar to our food, look to the finest of seasonal ingredients for inspiration.”
The new cocktail selection is available now alongside the à la carte restaurant’s menu.
