Hardwick Festival 2024 returns in three weeks with a star-studded line-up for its 10th Anniversary.

The music festival, which is now one of the largest in the North East, will take place on 16th, 17th and 18th of August in the grounds of Hardwick Hall, in Sedgefield, with headliners Becky Hill, Snow Patrol and Richard Ashcroft as well as many more top acts across the three days.

With limited tickets now available, festival goers and families are now being urged to get booked up for what is set to be an “unbelievable day and night out”.

Jonathan Woodliffe, who has organised Hardwick Festival since it launched, said: “We have pulled out all the stops for the 10th Anniversary. From Becky Hill to Snow Patrol and British icon, Richard Ashcroft, headlining the main stage to Callum Beattie, Reverend & The Makers and Crazy P headlining the Tree House Stage – it’s going to be an exceptional event.

“We’ve got Richy Ahmed and Eats Everything headlining The Courtyard Arena, a new Summit Acoustic Stage to support seriously good regional talent plus an action-packed schedule of comedians, children’s entertainment, plenty of food and drink and fairground rides.

“Every year we evolve, adding in content that’s different and exciting – and make the event a truly special one for the people who have supported us over the years as well as new audiences.

“Hardwick Festival has become a huge community event and for the first time since it launched, we’ve now got people travelling from Europe to experience the festival. The team work tirelessly, not just on pulling in big names from across the globe to play here, but the whole operational side of the festival – and we’re all extremely pleased and proud of what we have achieved over the years and for the 10th Anniversary celebrations.”

Hardwick Festival Music Line-Up

Hardwick Festival this year celebrates its 10th Anniversary and the epic music line-up not only features headlines Becky Hill, Snow Patrol and Richard Ashcroft, but also on the Main Stage are The Charlatans, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Blossoms, Jamie Webster, Lightening Seeds, Jack Savoretti and Soul II Soul.

As well as the Main Stage, there are a further five stages across the festival. The Treehouse Arena features a Kevin & Perry DJ set and The Dolly Show – the UK’s number one Dolly Parton tribute.

The Courtyard Arena, which is transformed into a dance arena, will see world-famous DJs take to the stage to entertain festivalgoers.

World-renowned DJ and producer, Richy Ahmed, who’s been playing his sets in Ibiza, Barcelona and Dubai, will be flying in to play in his native North East. Originally from South Shields, Richy Ahmed has become known for his house bangers.

Also in The Courtyard Arena is English DJ and Producer Everything Eats, plus Fat Tony, Alisha, Never Dull and LaLa.

New for Hardwick Festival’s 10th Anniversary is the Summit Acoustic Stage, which Jonathan says “champions local talent”.

“There’s some fantastic talent from the North East that’s performing at the festival this year and even though some of the line-up will be unknown to people, some of these people will end up becoming household names in years to come,” said Jonathan.

Fishburn Brass Band will also play the Summit Acoustic Stage as well as a jam-packed line-up of comedians.

The hugely popular Boogie Wonderland Stage is back this year, with DJ Murray Mint and Special Guests, plus Into The Woods DJ Area will also return for 2024.

Food and Drink at Hardwick Festival

Eat, drink, rave repeat! The 10th Anniversary Hardwick Festival promises to be a tasty one this year with a top-class line-up of food and drink stands – including street food veterans from the region.

Visitors can get stuck into food from around the world including Greek gyros, JJ Caribbean Cuisine, Mivesi Indian street food, and Italian-style wood-fired pizzas from Truly Madly Pizza.

Falafel Fella will be serving up authentic Syrian dishes plus, there’ll be Chicken Stack, hog roast, fish and chips, loaded fries and plenty more palate-pleasing dishes.

Cans, draught, bottles and a selection of other drinks will be served on the Main Bar, plus around the site will also be: Colonel Porter’s Bar; Cocktail and Pimm’s Bar, Champagne Bar, a Real Ale Tent; Rhum Emporium; plus themed bars around the site.

Hardwick Festival For Families

While Hardwick Festival is renowned for big names in music, there’s also plenty to do for all the family.

Let’s Circus will be running the Children’s Area, and guests can enjoy circus training, Punch & Judy, plus children’s rides and a play area.

Children will also be able to make seed bombs to plant in their own gardens, there’ll be fun and interactive talks about the importance of flowers and bees, plus pottery classes, variety shows, magic shows and much more.
