It’s full of rustic English charm and always seems to be busy whenever I go. This time, we visited South Causey inn for lunch for my brother’s birthday. Two weddings were taking place at the venue and lots of people were choosing to dine outside.

We got seated in the restaurant with no problem and turned our attention to the vast menu. Serving up English classics such as mince and dumplings, a Sunday roast, and fish and chips alongside steaks, burgers and pizzas – it’s a great place to visit with a large group as there will always be something for everyone.
I went for the handmade corned beef pie which comes with chunky chips, veg and a jug of gravy. It was utterly delicious and the ultimate in comfort food. I’m still dreaming about it now…
