The Cavendish at Baslow will run its Seafood and Champagne menu until mid-September and it has proved a huge hit with guests.
The recently refurbished Cavendish Hotel at Baslow marks the late summer season with the return of its exquisite seafood menu.
It runs until mid-September and is a celebration of seafood and Champagne, served from the hotel’s Garden Room restaurant and outdoor terrace.

Enjoy a selection of delicious dishes whilst sipping Laurent-Perrier Champagne or a fine glass of chilled rose wine, enjoying the views over the Chatsworth Estate from the terrace.
From BBQ’d monkfish tail to moules frites, accompanied by a selection of Champagnes by Laurent-Perrier, diners can feast on a range of seafood dishes, or a magnificent seafood platter to share piled with oysters, tiger prawns, mussels, scallops and dressed crab, designed for sharing. Tipples to tempt you include the Laurent-Perrier Champagne La Cuvée, Whittaker’s Gin, or a chilled New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

The selection of dishes also includes other dishes aside from seafood such as a Chatsworth Farm beef sirloin steak with Café du Paris butter, a range of starters & sides, and irresistible puddings to round off your dining experience. Much of the produce for salads, herbs and vegetables are grown locally in the Estate’s kitchen gardens, with breads including traditionally prepared sour dough from the Wye Bakehouse in nearby Bakewell.
There can be no finer place in Derbyshire to toast the remaining weeks of the summer season, than in the timelessly elegant surroundings of the Garden Room. Its friendly relaxed service and a candlelit ambience during the early evenings is enhanced by patio heaters and blankets, should they be required.
The Seafood and Champagne menu is held seven days a week, from 12noon to 9pm, and advanced booking is essential. Guests can book online or call the hotel on 01246 582311 to make a reservation.
