Scandinavian cook and author, Signe Johansen, will show foodies how to hygge this Friday.
Hygge (pronounced hoo-ga) is the Danish ritual of enjoying ‘life’s simple pleasures’.
Signe will share her secrets over a glass of Cherry Glogg, her gravlax canapés and ‘fika’ (coffee and cake).
You can meet her at Latimer’s Seafood Deli, in Whitburn, and get a signed copy of her book: How to Hygee, The Secret of Nordic Living.
Robert Latimer will also be demonstrating how to peel a langoustine and dress a lobster. Andrew Coghlan’s wine merchants will be on hand for all your festive wine and champagne needs and farmer Ridley Armstrong will be tempting you with tastes of his longhorn beef.
Tickets are just £10 (£20 with a signed book) and can be purchased at http://bit.ly/2fQ4LeM
The event runs from 6pm to 9pm.
