Meat:Stack is now open for business at a brand new location in the Grainger Market, Newcastle, serving its popular real American cheeseburgers as well as an all-new breakfast menu.
To celebrate the opening Meat:Stack is giving fully loaded loyalty cards to the first 200 people to buy a meal between 12noon-2pm on Friday 12 January. This will entitle the lucky customers to their next meal free of charge.
Meat:Stack has been trading for almost two years at local events across the North East, as well as having pop-ups in No28 in Newcastle city centre (above the Grainger Market) and Salt Horse in Edinburgh.
The opening within newly renovated unit 87/88 at the Grainger Market has always been the ambition of owners Charlie Mair, Allan Hyslop and Tom Westman.
Tom says: “The Meat:Stack concept and vision was always to revolutionise the takeaway cheeseburger scene by offering a high quality product at affordable prices.
“The burger scene is always expanding but we feel the majority of outlets have lost touch with simplicity and pricing, offering over thought products at wallet stretching prices.”
Allan adds: “Now our loyal customers will be rewarded with the option of a quality, affordable cheeseburger every day of the week.
“The menu offers 4 cheeseburgers, two of which will rotate weekly, with an option of a very cheap fries and drink meal upgrade.
“To kick it all off we wanted to give something back to our fans and that is where the idea for the 200 free meals came from. We will also be offering free large upgrades on fries for the first few weeks.”

As the Grainger Market opens early, breakfast will also be available daily from 7:30am-11:00am before the lunch will take over until close.
Charlie says,“At Meat:Stack, we dedicate a lot of time developing our recipes to ensure they taste amazing and the customer is getting value for their hard earned cash.”
“After years of research, the methods of smashing and steaming our salt aged beef patties as well as the flavours in the homemade sauces and relishes combine to produce what we think is the best combination you can put in a bun.”
“There is no real secret, just really good ingredients and real attention to flavour balance, resulting in a cheeseburger that smacks you with flavour.”
And this dedication to great flavours for a great price also extends to its new breakfast menu, with a selection of muffins served with local coffee, fresh juice and hash browns cooked in beef dripping.
The Grainger Market Unit is open Monday to Saturday from 7.30am-5.30pm and closed on Sundays.
Meat:Stack will continue to trade at No28 seven days a week and will still attend the usual local events.
