Britain’s Best Cook judge, Eat Well For Less presenter and owner of The Naked Grocer, Chris Bavin helps families save thousands on their yearly shopping bills. And he’s going to be at the Bishop Auckland Food Festival this month to show how to make cost-effective dishes which are delicious, easy to make and healthy.
What big food trend do you think we’ll see in 2018?
I think and hope we will see a trend for healthier eating and I think we might see more cooking at home. I think our gut health will play a big part in our future diets.
If we gave you £10 to spend on food or drink, what would you buy?
A big bag of fish and chips with lots of salt and vinegar.
Find out what would make Chris’ perfect three-course meal and whether he truly likes all fruit and vegetables in our full interview in the latest issue of Savour – out now.
Chris will be appearing on the Market Place live stage during the Bishop Auckland Food Festival from Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 April in free-to-attend demonstrations. Click here to find out more about what’s on at the Bishop Auckland Food Festival.
